WHAT OTHERS SAY

"My goal is the Zermatt half marathon. Marianne invests a lot of time in the athlete before she starts planning. She made the training very varied and goal-oriented. I'm really looking forward to the competition!😊"

I only started running in my 60s to get fit and stay healthy while enjoying the natural beauty of the country I moved to.

My goal is to finish the half marathon here in Lucerne in 2021.

I was amazed at how quickly the distance increased. At the very beginning, 3 minutes without a break was a real challenge. Now I've walked 2 hours and am steadily moving towards my goal. I am so grateful for that watchful eye and encouraging comments that Marianne provides with a qualified and knowledgeable background, helping me along the path to my goal

“I have started and stopped running so many times in my life. I ran the Eigertrail 16 km in 2019 and wasn't well prepared for it. I started running coaching in 2020 and I'm so excited now that I'll be running the Eiger Trail again in 2021."

Coach Marianne is a passionate running trainer/coach. Their training plans are always useful, challenging, varied and never boring. It motivates me to do those comfortable workouts at a comfortable pace and make progress along the way. Her holistic view of running in general and the trainee in particular has her full attention to creating the best workout; in addition to running: endurance, strength, mobility, nutritional advice and exercises to prevent and heal injuries."

It's been 5 years since I met Marianne. At a trail workshop in Siebengebirgte (Germany) we lugged parts together and clicked straight away. I was then in training for the E35 of the Eiger Ultra Trail, having had a DNF on the E51 the year before. Marianne caught us at the finish in Grindelwald and the click was still there, even though we had only known each other for a short time.

During the May holidays of the following year we met again in Grindelwald (Switzerland) where we attended a workshop at Backdoor and where we ended up tracking part of the E16 together. I'm not fast, Marianne is a bit faster, but the acceptance and respect for each other's qualities was and is there. In the meantime I trained with a trainer who gave me nice schedules who really supported me through the app, but I never felt like I was there. Like I said, I'm not fast and it's not the will and motivation, but I didn't feel good enough.

Shortly thereafter, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto and many pieces of the puzzle fell into place. Marianne started coaching and I thought it was time to switch to her. Nevertheless, Corona and a lack of motivation/goals made me quit.

Quitting turns out to be totally counterproductive for me, Hashimoto is in this respect a devil in the backpack who is always there and causes higher inflammation values, more tiredness, lethargy and depressive feelings. Something had to change, Corona had been there for a year and a half, goals could be set carefully again, it was possible to start independently, but still gave the feeling of not being complete.

And in that moment, I don't know, I'm starting again, I can do it myself, doubt and the urge to be healthy with my body and mind, you gave me a chance. Yes yes yes, just at the right time Marianne was back. We've been training for a few months now. I really like the Final Surge app. Training at a low heart rate is gradually finding its way into acceptance, the distribution per week is great. The feedback after the training sessions is so nice, both in pain and a difficult training, Marianne knows how to give the right words/advice and feedback.

Marianne, I'm so happy to have you as a coach, as a person, as a running buddy (when I'm in Switzerland). Thank you in advance for the results I am seeing, feeling and experiencing
